A NEW REVIEW

What a great way to finish off a quiet Sunday that's been filled with chores around the house, you know, like washing out the dog house cuz it's just too stinky even the dogs refuse to go in it.  Ah well, such is the life of everyday living.

Then you open up your mail and find a review you've been waiting on for some time!

With fingernails reflexively shooting into my mouth, I click on over to see what my fate is.  Isabela Morales is known to be a fairly astute and critical reviewer with a vast and unquenchable thirst for all things science fiction and beyond.  Phew, that was a mouthful.  And double-phew, her review was very good.  My fingernails are safe for another day.

Here it is, a double feature:

Uncluttering My Space

So, this week, I've spent the majority of my time staring incessantly at my blogpage and thinking: "It's cluttered!"

Okay, honestly.  I'm bored as hell with the look.  I should really stop looking at it so much.

I've tried rearranging, changing colour schemes, moving the side bars around, fretting, cussing from the power going off in mid-change (not a good thing), and putting it all back like it was before.  It's still not right in my eyes.  I'm thinking seriously of changing it completely - like different template, colours, layout.  What do you think folks?

During my time staring incessantly, I've also poked about to the other various blogsites that I follow and catch my eye.  Some I really like, and think, I want that too.  But at the same time, I'd like it to stick, like a signature look.  Oh, the decisions!

Oh, well.  In the meantime, if the mood catches you, swing by fellow Champagne Books space opera writer, K.M. Tolan's blogsite, and read about why I like to read and write serials.

Well, until my ultimate change and all that happens in between that, stay tuned as I've a fairly busy February coming up.  It includes the Devil visiting and me skipping around here and there.

Hearts & Flowers Blog Party

For the entire month of February, Champagne Books blog will be hosting a Hearts & Flowers Blog Party!

Up for grabs are book giveaways from many of the talented authors at Champagne Books...me included (not sure about the talented bit, though.  Hee hee).

During this month, be sure to stop by and leave some comments if you want to win something.  Or simply click on over and be entertained throughout this month as we writer's jump in and yak about ourselves and talk about our books, and whatever else we writer's yak about.

Here's the link that intro's everything.  Be sure to follow the instructions now... http://champagnebooks.blogspot.com/2011/02/getting-party-started.html

So all I have to say, is stay tuned and good luck.  Don't worry, I'll be sure to remind you when, ah-hem, I am featured.  Would you believe they've given me THREE days spotlight.  How cool is that!!  I won't be boring you with dull prattlings (I'll leave that for this place) but sharing some excerpts from my books.  ALL THREE from the trilogy.  And, the excerpts won't be the usual ones that gets publicity.  So be sure to stop by and have a read.

That's all for now!
